Cake Break in Manchester

It’s not because you’re on holidays that you have to live off sandwiches and crisps. It’s nice to once in a while splurge on a cake so big that I dare you to eat it all in one try. For all of you out there that wish to eat dessert in a very laid-back place Teacup Kitchen in Manchester is the perfect place to go to.

Located right in the center of the city (and next to the train station, for those who are just transiting and have a few hours to spare), Teacup Kitchen is a very comfy place with a hipster vibe to it. As soon as you go in, a strong smell of sugar hits you and the first thing that you see is those giant cakes sitting on the counter. The rainbow cake is their most popular option but they are many others (including some vegan and gluten free cakes). To go with the cake, they also have some oh-so-British tea as well as smoothies, juices and coffee.

The only thing is that because cakes are so good and therefore extremely popular you will have to wait a couple of minutes before you get seated, and a few more minutes before you get a ginormous slice of the world’s tastiest cake.

And if you don’t finish it all in one go, don’t worry, just ask for a doggy bag and you’ll be able to take.
